Guide

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Wrinkled finger tips are usually a result of hands immersed in water for long periods of time.

But there are some other common causes, which are:

  • LymphedemaThis is a medical condition in which there is building up or clogging of fluid in some areas of the fingers.
  • Thyroid Disorder: This is also a common cause of Wrinkled Fingertips or Pruney Fingers.
  • Parasympathetic Nerve Dysfunction: This medical condition is also known to cause Wrinkled Fingertips or Pruney Fingers.
  • Connective Tissue Disorder: Conditions like lupus and scleroderma also tend to cause Wrinkled Fingertips or Pruney Fingers.

I hope this helps.

Be well,

~Gillette
