What is the ideal dosage for Metformin when using it to treat PCOS?

Thank you for your question!

There is no 'ideal' dosage for any medication really and your dose will depend on your own situation. 

However, the majority of women start with a 500mg dose, then move up to a 1000 mg dose and some go on to a 1500mg dose. These changes are made three weeks in a row. This is generally what happens but there may be adjustments made for some women.
