Tried meds. for 2 years. 1st year injected once a week, 2nd. year injected 5 days a week, went undetected for 6 months and is now back. Drs. want me to try the new med. that is out, which means going on a triple med cocktail. I'm 50 years old...is it really worth it for me? I no longer have prescription coverage!

Hi Anonymous,
Have you talked to your doctors about the new "cocktail" and if there is anything they can do to help since you no longer have prescription coverage? Doctors can often give you samples etc., to see if the new medications will help you. That would be my first suggestion. Are you in the United States? What State? You should be able to search to see if your State has any medical assistance based on your age and income.
