The underams turn dark after shaving on individuals with darker skin tones because it is considered trauma to the skin. The condition is called Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation.

Are you referring to the skin that is dark, and that you have no hair after shaving? Depending on your skin color, there are different products available that can lighten hyperpigmentation with varying results.
Or, are you referring to the presence of hair stubble that is left after shaving? Many women do still have hair showing, even after shaving, as the razor can only remove the hair at the surface of the skin, and then the hair underneath the skin can still be dark and be seen. There are various hair-removal options, besides shaving, that women find successful. Let us know if you are interested in learning more about these options.
