How did they lose the weight? A collection of stories to inspire you
I am working on weight loss and fitness, like so many of you. But as we know, it takes time -- and motivation is sometimes in short supply.
So I love it when I run across real people who tell the stories of how they lost weight -- how many pounds, how long it took them, and where they had triumphs and difficulties. I like to see before-and-after pictures -- don't we all? -- and watch how the bodies get smaller, while the smiles just get bigger!
Elizabeth Potter, 26, inspired by her young son, lost 100 pounds in a little over two years.
Chelle Stafford, 38, lost 55 pounds with the help of her trusty Playmate cooler.
Shannon Watson, 41, lost 80 pounds after having two children.
Jennifer Powell, 36, took off nearly 150 pounds by getting rid of the excuses and meeting a friend at the gym.
These are just a handful of the 45 great weight-loss stories that are a part of womenshealthmag.com. Some did Weight Watchers, or Atkins, or e-diet. Some were motivated to lose weight for a special occasion; others just wanted to finally feel better. They all give tips and hints, and the pictures are really fun. How inspiring Diane, thanks for the share. I, myself, just starting watching the Biggest Loser and thought this was a great way to get others motivated to lose weight.
It may sound cliche but I loss a lot of weight when I started eating right. The key to weight loss is to eat in moderation, Christopher Guerriero once told me that I need to eat low fat longevity foods like salmon
almonds, red grapes, blueberries, garlic, spinach and whole grains. (Website removed due to EmpowHer's anti-solicitation policy.)
