SmartyMinds Little Ones Suite (http://www.smartyminds.com) is an engaging and entertaining educational app for toddlers and preschoolers. Each of the four modules -- alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes -- allows toddlers and preschoolers to advance at their own pace and interest level and without the need for parental guidance.
Did you know?
* Children find kindergarten less confusing if they already know the alphabet
* Children learn to read by visually seeing a word, hearing its pronunciation and seeing a visual definition of it
* Twelve month old children can be introduced to the concept of numbers by counting small sets
SmartyMinds Little Ones Suite's highly intuitive user interface - designed by a Ph.D. in advanced graphics and visualization - lets toddlers and preschoolers advance in their learning without any help and reinforces their ability to do things independently.
Each module features:
* High-resolution graphics
* Accurate sounds
* Positive reinforcement
Each module introduces its subject in an insightful way by using everyday experiences. Children get excited by applying what they learned to their day-to-day life.
SmartyMinds Little Ones Suite is available for purchase at Apple's App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/smartyminds-little-ones-suite/id400209034?mt=8) for USD 0.99 - this price includes the alphabet module. I got this app for my kids and they loved it. They learned new words that I never would have thought of a 2 year old could say or remember. They got almost a year ago & still play it.
