I routinely wake up with headaches and also snore. I have found that the left side of my brain feels numb. If I run exceptionally hard, I will almost pass out as if there is no oxygen to the brain. In addition, I have noticed the most of the left side of my body feels as if it is dying. I am not joking, my left knee bothers me, my left elbow bothers me from time to time, my left shoulder, and the left side of my back are commonly effecting in some manner.
Well, tonight I tried to open up my nose using a q-tip. Sure enough, I have excess gas emitting from within my back and it feels as if I am able to relax. However, without the constant pressure of the q-tip my left side of my face is beginning to go numb / die on me. I have heard that my cousin had surgery on her nose because her face bone was too large for her nostril opening. I have never forgotten that.
Does anyone have any advice that may help me. I know that a q-tip, when placed into my nostril, will not travel pass the point where my face bone reaches my nostril, and I'm talking about a small, thin, q-tip. I truly believe that this may be the root of my physical trauma.
For all you enthusiasts out there, take a peak at this realm of thought. I've been searching for two years on how to relieve my back problem. I've tried a chiropractor. Only recently have I found meditation, which has been the best yet. However, I don't think I have any oxygen reaching parts of my body.
Amazing isn't it? I live in Tempe, Arizona. Does anyone have any suggestions for a clinic or perhaps a method that may alleviate such a condition?
Sincerely,

This has to be very frustrating. I really feel for you. I think Susan's advice sounds like a good place to start. I've not heard of people having to have cheekbone surgery, but I have heard of nose surgery for a deviated septum. How long have you had these problems? Besides a chiropractor and meditation, what else have you tried?
