  my teeth ake all along top teeth this is not all the time and is not due to hot or cold things

  I had a cracked tooth which I had a root canal done on. After going to the endodontist several times and being on an antibiotic I was told to go ahead and have the crown put on.

  Should an X-ray be taken after a root canal to make sure the infection is gone before crowining the tooth is done?

  I have a black hole on my top (near the back ) tooth i think its my molar.It only hurts when cold drinks or food go on it ( quite painful) but other than that its fine,I am a little worried and i dont know what to do.the black hole is quite near the gum ?
