  it appears as if he may not need hip surgery but the gout or acid build up is creating the pain in the back and the hip. is this possible? He also has only one kidney.

  

  my husband has a uric acid problem. his levels our high and it´s caused him to have gout now he´s having trouble with one of his hips and his back. we thought he needed hip surgery.

  I first developed gout about two years or so ago, so I'm a newby. I couldn't tolerate the conventional Rx treatment (violent night-sweats) so I opted instead for the sour cherry regimen.

  

  Is eveyone able to control their gout outbreaks with nothing but including sour cherries in their diet?
