Dr. Shokooh:

If the patient is sent to me because they have risk factors and we go through them and we come up with whether they do have heart disease or not. If they do have heart disease I want to see him on a regular basis may be every three to six months depending on how bad the disease is and if they do not have anything and their risk factors are under control I think the patient can followup with their primary doctors and if something comes up they can see their cardiologist again.
