Dr. Marc Brand shares if steroid suppositories and creams help a woman suffering from hemorrhoids.
It depends on the symptoms. If the symptoms are more of an inflammatory nature, which is most likely something along the lines of burning and itching, then the steroid creams or suppositories can be helpful. But if the symptoms are more bleeding, prolapse, that’s a mechanical problem and the steroids are very unlikely to help that.
