Life Coach Crystal Dwyer provides three tips for women to help them break their addictions to tobacco and nicotine.

Crystal Dwyer:
So ladies, I’d like to give you three tips if you are struggling with a nicotine or tobacco addiction. Number one is, you need to decide if you are ready to quit smoking. It can’t be your husband; it can’t be your children; it can’t be anyone else because your mind is the government to your entire body. So if you are going in there kicking and screaming, saying, “You know, I don’t really quit. I really don’t want to quit. I am doing this for my husband, my mom, my kids,” it’s not going to be effective. So really, come to the place where you are making the decision–number one.

Also, number two–be prepared to replace this physical addiction because smoking is a very physical addiction. So, you know, for the oral addiction part of it, you know, be prepared to replace it with munching on carrots, and for the relaxation break part of the smoking, you know, think of something like taking, for that break, take a brisk walk even if it’s just around the block for your break. So you are going to replace habits. Be prepared for that. That’s number two.

And the third thing is consider hypnosis coupled with other things, whether it’s the pill, the patch, the gum, whatever it is, hypnosis can be super-powerful in your efforts to completely be tobacco-free forever.
