Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us for help.
No one but your gynecologist can advise you. The doctor knows what the "wound" in your uterus is; I do not. The doctor knows what tablets were prescribed and how they work; I do not.
Were you told that you have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)?
Infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity can all occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Having polycystic ovary syndrome, especially if obesity also is a factor, can increase the risk for developing endometrial cancer, which is cancer of the uterine lining.
Combination birth control pills, which contain both estrogen and progestin, are prescribed to lower your risk of endometrial cancer and to correct abnormal bleeding.
Anonymous, please come back if we can be of any further help.
