Can I be pregnant

My last period was December 29, 2014. I started to spot on January 20 a dark brownish color and it stopped. I took a pregnancy test but it was negative. I'm 38 yrs old with tubal ligation (clamps) and had it done 15 yrs ago.

Mines is similar to hers but I spotted a pinkish color and then brownish for four days. My cycle is pretty normal the only time I spot is when it's time for me to come on. I been having pregnancy symptoms except for breast tenderness.

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Have your menstrual cycle been regular? How long is your menstrual cycle?

Testing on January 20 may have been too early. Dark brown vaginal discharge indicates old blood. Less than 1% of women become pregnant following a tubal ligation, without reversal.

Consider discussing this with your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
