condom burst while having sex l took after pill after about 40 hours. I had some light periods before my normal time can l be pregnant

Hello Anonymous,

You are not pregnant. You took an emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of the condom breaking and you have had vaginal bleeding.
The light "period' means the pill was effective in preventing a pregnancy.
