Q:

Could I be pregnant?

I've been really stressing this for the past week or so. First, I've been on birth control (Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo) for six months. I've never missed a pill and never been over 2-3 hours late on one. My boyfriend and I almost always use protection and he checks the condoms religiously afterwards. Two weeks ago we had unprotected sex, no longer than probably a minute. He didn't ejaculate but pre-cm could definitely be a factor. I'm almost 100% sure of it. I've had pressure in the middle of my abdomen the past two days, closer to the right side of my body. My breasts feel a little more tender than usual and I also feel like I've had an increase in appetite (but I may just be thinking that up). Does it sound possible that I could be pregnant or do you think I'm just stressing to much and over thinking?
Please, if anyone could shed some light, I ask that you do.

January 10th. It's predictable because of the birth control.

Hello Anonymous,

As long as you have not missed seven consecutive days of your birth control pills, you are and were protected against pregnancy.

When are you due to start your period?

I think you are causing yourself unnecessary stress.

Regards,
Maryann
