Q:

Does this pose any risks?

I have a few concerns that happened a couple days ago I'm confused on what to Believe as sources on the internet say both yes and no. My scenario was that me and my boyfriend had and we had dry sex. After it happened everything seemed dry however a minute later I noticed a small wet patch on his shorts and I was worried that it could have made contact with my vagina due to him being so pressed up against me. Also, can sperms survive in the mouth for long? This might sound weird and it's unlikely that it happened but Could that be possible? Sorry for sounding so ridiculous, I'm genuinely concerned and aren't very educated on this topic. Thank you in advance. :)

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am so glad you came to us with your concerns.

You were not at risk for becoming pregnant. The wet spot on your boyfriend's shorts could have pre ejaculate fluid, which itself does not contain sperm, or semen which does contain sperm.
Either remained "trapped" in his shorts. There was no way for sperm to "escape" and travel into your vagina.

Sperm does not survive in the mouth. Think about it. Once you swallow, it begins its travel in the digestive tract, where digestive enzymes begin the work of breaking it (and food) down.
