Dry humping and late period

My boyfriend and i were fooling around one day and this was a couple days after my period ended, he massaged me down there while i still had clothing on, and began bleeding a little that night, which stopped within a couple of hours. There was no genital contact, only fingers on clothing, massaging/rubbing genitals. I believe the bleeding is from the rubbing/massaging with my clothing still on, causing irritation and slight bleeding. However around a week later we were fooling around and I was on him and we were dry humping- there were four layers of clothing in between our genitals but he was aroused and I could feel him poking in a little. I do not know if he ejaculated, but it is now two/three weeks later from when we dry humped and my period is late, is it possible I am pregnant? Again there were four layers (underwear & jeans on both persons) and I could feel him poking in a little and my period is now late. I have never had any type of intercourse, only outercourse/dry humping (once). I have read multiple times that it is not possible to become pregnant this way & I have been through sex ed, but I am still worried, should I be concerned? Thank you.

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

It is not possible to become pregnant by dry humping. Try to relax because stress will only further delay the start of your period.

Thank you Maryann. My period is still not here and is about 7 days late, One day I had cramps and felt slight pain near my pelvic area, only lasting for a minute. I have also felt sore in some areas in legs and arms which usually happens before my period. I am still paranoid that it is somehow possible for there to be a risk of pregnancy. Some people have told me to get tested in case the risk is true and some have told me not to worry because of the multiple layers of clothing.Any advice?

Hello Anonymous,

If seeing the test results will settle the matter for you, then test. Test in the morning for the most accurate result.
