I had sex on my third day of menstruation. My boyfriend ejaculated inside me 3 times. I took 4 pills of Nordette at 1pm and another 4 pills after 12 hours. Am I safe from getting pregnant already? I know it was a really stupid action. After 3 days I took 1 pill of Nordette just to be sure at 10pm. I fell asleep and woke up at 5am bleeding with dark red to black-ish color of blood. I dont really understand whats happening anymore. I tried searching for answers and I cant seem to find any answers. I searched the word withdrawal bleeding and breakthrough bleeding. I cant understand what it meant though. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!! :(

There was no risk for pregnancy when you had intercourse on the third day of menstruation. Ovulation had passed, so no egg to fertilize.
Nordette is a combination oral contraceptive that contains synthetic progesterone and estrogen, that is taken one pill each day.
Anonymous, why did you take four pills at a time and repeat this 12 hours later?
You overdosed. Please seek medical attention right away. Either call your gynecologist or call a poison help line. Overdose symptoms may include nausea, vomiting and vaginal bleeding.
