Hello Ojaswee,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for coming to us with your concern of possibly being pregnant.

You mention period delay pills. Are you taking birth control pills continuously to delay or prevent your period from starting?

You said your partner used a condom but it was upside down. A condom has an open and a closed end. Did you mean he put it on with the outside of it touching his penis?

What type of contraceptive did you have 24 hours after sex? Was it an emergency contraceptive?

I suggest you contact your physician, report what has happened and follow any recommendations. I don't know if what you call a one day period was indeed your monthly period or not. Please keep us updated once you speak with your doctor.

Regards,
Maryann
