I had unprotected sex a few days before last months period. I had my period as normal and it started on the 6th July, however it was lighter than usual and only lasted a few days. It is now the 11th August and i still havent come on my period, having said this my periods are quite irregular. I know its unlikely to become pregnant as you are most fertile 14 days into your cycle, however I am still worried as my periods are so irregular. Please help me by giving me your thoughts.

i had sex a few day before my period like 28th or 29 of nov , my period came in dec but i dont remember the date it was like 6th of dec or 9th of dec or 11th of dec

Hello Iaila,
If you have had unprotected sex frequently since your last period in early December, it is possible that you could be pregnant.
Since it is almost the end of January, I suggest you take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test with the first urine of the day, when you first wake up in the morning.

I had sex with my boyfriend on Dec 31st then started spotting on jan 11th lasted 2-3 days normal first day then spotting very light the next 2 days, also a little crampy, headaches. my period is not due until the 19th. I took a couple tests all - However i have a 2 year old and I got all - tests for her even after blood work confirmed it at 8 weeks. I did not get a + hpt until i was 12 weeks for my first baby. Help could I be pregnant!?

ok I started my period jan,17,2014 and it lasted 3 days and I had sex last night how long do I have too wait too take a home test I also have irregular periods when do I know when take a pregnancy test? its never lasted 3 days till I had sex now it just stopped idk whats going on need some awnsers please!

Hello Anonymous,
With a history of irregular periods, how many days does your period generally last? On average, how long is your menstrual cycle? Has the reason for irregular menstrual cycles been determined?
Was the menstrual flow heavy for three days or more like spotting? Have you been having unprotected sex regularly since your last normal period?
If the bleeding was spotting, pink or brown in color, and you have been having unprotected sex, take a home pregnancy in the next few days.
This could be implantation bleeding.
Otherwise, if you see a gynecologist, call the office.

I have not gotten my period. No Sign of it. I went to my gyn appointment. Dr told me if I'm still late two weeks past my period date of Jan 11th to take an hpt. My last regular period was Dec 16th... I was checked at ER for std's everything's normal. . No cancer or problems. The ovarian Cyst was normal occurrence that happens monthly.. so what could be the delay with my regular cycle? Neg ept pregnancy test this morning though advised to wait one more week. I figured what's the harm in taking one a week early? My cycle is a week late can you help? Thanks in advance. My cycles are very regular. I still have cm too snotty nose. Sorry for tmi. Mild cramps no period.

Since you have been to see your gynecologist, follow his or her advise and test when instructed. Follow up with the results. Your gynecologist is your best resource to determine why your period is late.
Your gynecologist can order further blood tests, such as a blood pregnancy test or test to check your hormone levels.

I got the implant removed on November 25, 2014 me and my boyfriend had unprecedented sex on the 27th .we then had unprecedented sex again Dec 8 but I still didn't get my period in Dec so I though I was pregnant but I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Had unprecedented sex on Dec 29 and two days later I started what I though was my period it only lasted three days the first day often was just spotting and the next heavy then back to a light period. I had some symptoms of pregnancy. I been gaining weight and tired more offten. Could I be pregnant?
