Not having intercourse or using protection is the only way not to become pregnant.
Since you have not gotten your period and have had unprotected intercourse, you need to take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, buy a name brand product. Read and follow the directions carefully, Most important, test in the morning. Use the urine when you wake up and use the bathroom.
Then, call your gynecologist.
