Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for seeking our help with your questions regarding Postinor 2.

The recommended instruction is to take one Postinor 2 tablet as soon as possible following unprotected sexual intercourse. Take the second tablet 12 hours later. Postinor 2 is most effective if taken within 72 hours. There is not reported danger or decreased in effectiveness if you take both tablets together.

You know if it was effective if you have vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill.
