My boyfriend and I have sex almost every week, a lot actually. Since last July I've been on junel fe and take it around 6 am everyday. Yesterday morning I woke up late and need up taking it at 9:15. A couple hours later my boyfriend and I had sex for a couple hours. Could I get pregnant from this "oops"?

Junel Fe 1/20 contains ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone. It is a combination drug that contains female hormones that prevent ovulation and cause changes in the cervix mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.
Anonymous, you should be protected because you took the missed pill only 3 hours and 15 minutes later.
