I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

hi i took postinor 2 but i only got 1 pill in thr box so i took 1 pill approximately 30 mins after do you think it would work?

postinor2 pills should be taken 12 hours apart but i took the 2nd pill of postinor2 45 minutes late (after 12 hours)..is it ok?

From everything I have read about Postinor 2, it is stated that the second dose should be taken 12 hours after the first dose. I don't know if taking the second pill 12 hours and 45 minutes after the first will make it less effective.
You can check with the pharmacist or your gynecologist. If you get your period, then you know it worked and have nothing to worry about. If you don't get your period within three weeks of taking Postinor 2, take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

There have been no reports of serious harmful effects from taking too many Postinor 2 tablets at one time. If you have taken several pills at a time, you may feel sick, vomit or have vaginal bleeding. I do not think an overdose of Postinor 2 can prevent you from becoming pregnant in the future, but check with your doctor.

will postinor 2 cause gain on weight? my girlfriend told me that on expected period day she had a light period lasting about 3-4 days. she was so worried that she might got pregnant since her weight gain

To my knowledge, Postinor 2 does not cause weight gain. Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive that contains levonorgestrel, which is in a class of medications called progestins. It works by preventing the release of an egg from the ovary or by preventing fertilization of the egg by sperm, or by changing the lining of the uterus to prevent the development of a pregnancy.
Since your girlfriend had a period, she is not pregnant. Changes in a woman's menstrual cycle is a side effect of this pill. A period may start earlier or later than normal. The menstrual flow can be lighter or heavier than normal.
Her weight gain is not related to taking Postinor 2 or pregnancy.

Thanks for the comment. However will that light period be a fake period? Cause I heard that it could be implatation bleeding or a withdrawal bleeding, I not pretty sure about it.
