period 20 days late test came out negative

I had a baby on feb 12th of this year. I just got my first period after birth on may 6th.I had my period on may 6th and was due June 3rd and have not gotten it. I took a hpt which came out negative. Today is June 23rd and only once today I whipped I had some brown spotting but thats it. Can I be pregnant. I have been experiencing stomach pains, headaches and some nausea.

Hello Anonymous,

Have you had unprotected sex since your period which started on May 6?

If so, there may be a chance of pregnancy. Call your gynecologist/obstetrician and report this. Your doctor may want you to come into the office to be examined and do a blood pregnancy test.
