I've never had sex but my boyfriend and I have messed around several times. I'm not on birth control so could I be pregnant? On June 24 I took a plan b pill and I started bleeding lightest for a week afterwards. However recently I've had to pee more often, my boobs are tinder, I feel like my areolas are darker but I'm not sure. I have been nauseous or been craving anything or been afcted by certain smells though. Do you think I'm pregnant?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to us with your concern.

If you have not had unprotected intercourse, you could not have become pregnant.

There was no need to take Plan B unless, during fooling around, semen got into your vagina or on your outer labia. By taking the pill, you upset the normal balance of hormones that control your menstrual cycle.

Is your period late? If your period is late by at least one week, take a pregnancy test. If you are concerned about your symptoms, please speak with your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
