Hi Anonymous,

My error, I apologize.

YourFertility.org, "Tracking your ovulation"

Work out the length of your average menstrual cycle. Day one is the first day of the menstrual period and the last day is the day before the next period begins.

Ovulation happens about two weeks before the next expected period. So if your average menstrual cycle is 28 days, you ovulate around day 14.

The ‘fertile window’ is the six days leading up to and including ovulation.

The three days leading up to and including ovulation are the most fertile.

And to repeat, there was no risk for becoming pregnant in the situation you describe. Without penetration and ejaculation pregnancy could not happen. Do try to relax, there is nothing to be concerned about.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello Anonymous,

Sperm cannot pass through briefs.

Your fertile days are five days before ovulation and ovulation. You can calculate ovulation starting with the first day after your period ends. that is day one. Ovulation usually occurs around day 14.

So, you are fertile from day 10 to day 14 of your menstrual cycle.

Hello sweeti,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for coming to us with your concern about possibly getting pregnant.

You would not have become pregnant because your partner was wearing boxers. Even if he ejaculated, which would explain his boxers being wet, any released semen would have remained inside his boxers. Think of the cloth of the underwear as a trap. No sperm got past.

If your menstrual cycles are regular and normally are 28 to 30 days long, you should be ovulation around December 24. Your fertile days are five days before and on the day of ovulation. Again, you were not in your "fertile time" today, December 17.

Regards,
Maryann
