Why Doesn't my boyfriend want to have sex with me anymore?

We've been dating for over a yer now but in the last few months our sex has drastically decreased at first started to go down from at least 1-2 times a day for at least 5 months and then it went down to 1-2 times a week and then to 1-2 times a month and now it's been a month and a half since we've had sex. I've read a few articles about this allready, but none seem to fit my problem exactly. I was worried for a while that it might be me that was the problem and but he told me it wasn't and i know he wouldn't lie to me. I've asked him about it but he says theres nothing wrong. I just don't know what to do anymore. He's only a year older than me and he's suppose to be in hes prime. Is there anything I can do? I Haven't pressured him or anything because I dont want him to do it just to shut me up. I want him to want to. and I'm just not satistied anymore and im not asking for everyday, at this point once or twice a week would be nice. A far as I know there's nothing he's stressed about at work or school, could it be a cobination of the 2? or something else going on that I don't know about? and please keep in mind that im am searching for help and advice and I don't want to hear find a new boyfriend. I love him and im not leaving him, even if it means were not going to have sex anymore. But it's frustration for the time being as I find it a tad odd that I want it more than he does. and I don't really want to talk to any of my friends abotu it because I live in a small town and this is personal and I don't need everyone talking about it. and the last thing I want him to feel is embarassed. I havn't told anyone of my friends but I'm in need of some advice. Any Ideas?

He cheated in the beginning but hasn't cheated ever since,I know this for a fact and doesn't really work hard so those theories dont even count for me. (sorry for long story) :)

My boyfriend and I gave been together for almost three years. He is Caucasian and I am Asian. Our sex life has been pretty steady, about five times a week, then suddenly for the past couple of months he hasn't had any urges to be sexual at all. This problem has been affecting our relationship negatively. At first I thought that maybe he doesn't see me as attractive anymore, but then he always tells me how beautiful I am and he always tells me how much it turns him on to see me work out but still no action. I am so confused. I have suggested that maybe we take a break, but he refuses to and explained that the muscle supplements he has been taking is the cause. I have also concluded that his busy schedule--school, work, and the army--has much effect on his urges. I don't suspect him cheating at all. Anyways, if your boyfriend has a busy schedule or if he is taking any type of supplements that could be a possible reason for his low "cravings".

Wow..everything about your life is pretty much exact with mine. My bf is Caucasian and I'm Asian too. And everything is the same with the sex life, him always telling me how I'm beautiful, trying to take a break, work and the army, and the muscle supplements. Weird. But I never suspected the muscle supplements to be the problem. If it is, I still don't like it. But it's better than him cheating on me.
You know what sucks though? I really can't take it anymore after living months and months like this. I just ended our relationship last night because, hopefully, I can find someone who is willing to give me the attention that I need. But if you love him, stay with him. Just hope you can be stronger than me..good luck to both of you. ^_^

I am male and I don't especially like sex. I place it in the top 10 things in a relationship but not in the top 5.

When I was younger, I had sexual relations almost out of peer pressure because that is what I thought I "should" do. As it turned out, me and my wife both agreed later that we'd rather watch a video and hold hands than have a romp. To the best of my knowledge, she was satisfied with the relationship (she passed away 05/09) and I know I was.

If you haven't done it, talk to your guy about how important (or not) it is to him. I think a lot of women assume that guys always have their libido set on high. That simply isn't the case. He could have closet sex-apathy. It doesn't mean you're unattractive or you're not "doing it right" but what it does mean is that there is a psychological or physical barrier that he has toward having sex. Mine is physical; I don't like the act that much.

For those woman out there that might be reading this because they have a hunch their boyfriends / husbands might be gay, here is a list of signs that he probably is:

1. The sex seems forced and lacking in sensuality
2. The sex is infrequent and always was
3. You are rejected a lot when you want to be intimate
4. He doesn’t kiss you much and when he does, well – it just sucks
5. He looks at men
6. He had openly admitted to having sexual experiences with men
7. You are the first woman he has committed to
8. He buys you a dildo to use by yourself
9. He lashes out when you try to be intimate with him
10. He thinks your attempts at being sexy for him are humorous
11. He doesn’t really like getting blow jobs from you
12. Sex seems like it’s a opportunity for him to workout
13. He doesn’t seem to care about hurting or rejecting you physically
14. Sex seems like a chore to him
15. And lastly and most importantly, you are simply questioning his sexuality

This is a list taken out of my recent blog posting, "My Ex-boyfriend was on the 'Down Low'". Feel free to check it out here: https://barkandwhistle.wordpress.com/2010/12/17/my-ex-boyfriend-was-on-the-down-low/
For all those women out there that are being rejected sexually, my heart goes out to you and I hope you find it within yourself to move on if you have already put in too much energy trying to solve HIS problems.

Listen, I can't speak for all the other guys, I can't only speak for myself. I am that guy that has lost complete sexual interest in my girlfriend of five year. I love her a lot. But there are several reasons why my sex drive went down for her. 1) She stopped caring about her weight. She has put on at least 45+ pounds since I've met her. I have never once told her she was fat. (No, she never had kids, so its not n excuse) Why does this matter? Because before putting on all this weight, she was active during sex, now she can barely get on top of me. 2) She used to be on the pill until she stopped taking them because her prescription ran out, (she wants to go natural) even though she know I hate using a condom. During our first few years of the relationship, we have never used a condom. I can't go back to rubber after all those years. BS. I love her, I really do. I'm not going to cheat on her, but men are visual creatures, so a women is going to get out of me what she puts into herself. If my girlfriend want to let herself go, then naturally she's going to lose some of her sex appeal.
