Dr. Daenell:
I work primarily with women that are over 40 years old in the Denver area, and we work on hormonal changes, digestive health, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and, not that it applies to most people, but stress.
You know, a lot of people focus on their upper respiratory system when they are trying to deal with their allergies, but they don’t realize that their digestive system is the core area of health that would support against allergies. And so in my practice, instead of treating the sinuses, I'm actually treating the rest of that mucus membrane all the way down through the digestive tract.
When I can make the digestive system as healthy as it can be, everything else responds. At that point, true to my core as a naturopathic doctor, I am treating at the causal level, helping the body to heal itself.
