Andrea shares her positive bariatric surgery experience at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado.
Andrea:
When I first became a patient of the Bariatric Surgery Center at the North Colorado Medical Center, I needed to do several tests, including a sleep apnea test, extensive blood work, heart stress test, and then also, then needed to lose weight prior to the procedure being done. I really appreciated that because it made me feel that they were taking care to make sure the procedure was safe for me.
Surgery and being under anesthesia is a serious matter and by doing those tests and finding out what my health was and what my needs were, I didn’t feel like they were doing it so I couldn’t do the test. I felt like they are doing it so that I was safe and so that the best methods and techniques were used for me.
