You have got to have your friend check out The Wellness Community. It's an amazing non-profit organization devoted to providing FREE classes, support groups and resources to people with cancer and their loved ones. They offer free yoga classes, as well as other exercise classes, nutrition classes, etc, etc. It's an amazing place. There are nearly 25 locations throughout the US. Go to their main web site to find one in her area:

Does your friend want something like a group Yoga class or something she can do alone at home? If the latter, Jon Kabat-Zin has a few CDs that combine meditation and Yoga exercises.

Jon is professor of Medicine Emeritus and founding director of the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His 8-week program focuses on patients who suffer from cancer or other health conditions. It is a very easy to follow program if someone prefers to do it at home.
