Another "Pregnant? or just Stress-induced missed period?" question

The start of my most recent period was on Feb 26 - projected ovulation date being March 14, projected next period March 28 (via MyMonthlyCycles, where I have been keeping track of my period for 1 year). Average cycle - 30 days.

We had protected intercourse on March 3 and 24. The condom didn't break; slipped down maybe an inch but we pushed it right back up.

Now my period is 3 or 4 days late (depending if you count the 28th), with no usual signs of cramping etc that I normally get. Took two HPT's and both came out negative. Discharge looks normal, no tenderness of breasts or anything. I have had a little bit of an upset stomach but I think I may just be getting sick - I am under quite a bit of stress.

I know it's unlikely that I am pregnant, but I am paranoid since I can't afford to have a child right now. I have heard that stress really can throw off a regular period (I have been regular for 8 years now), but I have a hard time believing it since I am so paranoid... help? I don't know what's wrong with me!

Have a GYNO appt coming up in a month, but I'm the type of person who likes to know without going to the doc! It sure would be nice if my period would come!

Hi. Last December 13, 2012 I had sex with my girlfriend but we used a condom and pull- out method. We cannot put the condom at first for about 2 tries but then realized that I am trying to put it from the wrong side and we were able to put it properly after . She says that her next period is not until January 2,2013. Now I am kind of freaking out because what if there is pre-cum on the tip of my penis during the moments that we cannot wear the condom properly (hence, it could have been in the outside part of the condom when we were able to put it)? Could this cause pregnancy? Thanks

Hello Anonymous,

It is too early to test for pregnancy and get accurate results. During pregnancy, a hormone known as hCG is produced. Levels can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception. hCG levels in the blood can be detected about 11 days after conception.

Try to relax because extreme stressing can cause your period to be late. If your period is late beyond one week, then take a home pregnancy test.

hello all,
i had intercourse on the 29th of september twice. We fooled around a bit for a couple of seconds on both intercourses before he put his condom on but he did not ejaculate at that moment. he did cum on both intercourse, but only later when the condom is on. He also cleansed and urinated in between intercourse. the first day of my last period was the 24th of september and lasted for around 4 days (so we did it only a day after i finished my period). my cycle is quite irregular but on average its every 28 days. so i am *assuming* that i'm supposed to have them again on 22nd of october at the latest but still no period until now (28 october, so 6 days late). i took hpt on the 25th and 27th both with negative results.

i have to admit i am kind of lost track of my ovulation period the last couple of months, but last time i felt them (thick eggwhite-like discharge) coming on around the 5th-8th of october.

i currently have all what looked like my usual pms symptoms both psychologically and physically such as bloating, hot flushes, abdominal cramps, pain on muscular joints, mild-heavy headache, insomnia, and slight change in body odor. one symptom is missing though - the breast pains. usually i also have mild depression and anxiety, but on my last period on september, and also during these last couple of days, it snowballed to a severe paranoia. i am already under stress because of work and other personal problems, so i am very biased right now wether it's pms or pregnancy symptoms. btw, i am currently not on pill.

i really am not expecting for any child at the moment, and been crazily expecting AF to come. i am going to arrange for blood test on monday but i just need others' opinions as i am dead worried and biased. please help me what do you guys think, is it likely that i am pregnant? thanks in advance :)

hey guys. i give birth to my first son on july 8 then had my period september 24. I counted 28 days since my first period until now. I am 4 days late and strictly breastfeeding! but we use pacifier to let him sleep when he finished drinking. Uhm, i had a severe stomach pain and kinda having a light fever but no Pg symptoms. But still scared because my son is still 3 months old and i dont want to have another this early! We used pull out method too. My boyfriend told me not to worry cuz he really didnt ejaculate. But how come i missed my period? 4 days delay.. But i have a vaginal discharge, like plain white and kinda light pink (idk, kinda brown?). Oh god, i dont know what to do. Am i pregnant? I didnt use prgnancy test yet.
please reply. dont kno wat to do

hey, im in a little trouble and would like some advice PLEASEEE! im so lost and confusedd and worriiedd to death! I hve been having sexual intercourse with my partner. we sometimes used a condom and sometimes did not. yet each time we pulled it out before, condom or no comdom. i usually have irregular periods that just pop up during the first 2-3 weeks of the month. I am about a week late and im worried. my partner says he is positively sure he did not ejaculate. However, i have been feeling weird symptoms. i have sore tummy aches here and there, and sometimes even cramps down under but it eventaully goes away. my breasts and all that are fine no pain,, just the tummy and downer area cramp a bit. ive been under a little stress lately, and from reading what other women have said the fact that it could be a reason to a late period. im not sure wether im pregnant or just a really late period, but im really really scarred cause i am definately not wanting a baby atm. please help me, and give me some advice on what is going on with me!
