I had sex three months ago, and I have had two periiods since. I have a period two weeks after I lost my virginity, and then another one a month later, that one was exceptionally heavy. But this month I have not. Well not yet. It was due this week but they aren't 100% regular cause I'm only 16. Do you think I could be pregnant. I am so worried because if I am I'd be like 3 months pregnant. and I've just started my a levels so I'm stressing about them too. But if I go to doctors its hard to get to them because I live in a village in countryside with no shops. I'm stressing so much. Can any of you offer me some help or advice? Thank you.

Hi, I had sex before 14 weeks. I had a period 9 days later but it was really strange. My next period was late so I did a pregnancy test and it was negative. I got it later, and now I am again late. I feel breast pain and nausia. Is there any chance I could be pregnant?

Hi there,

First off, I am on the pill (Alesse) and while I don't always take it at the same time I don't miss a pill. I had sex with my boyfriend on the 27th of January, we came inside me. 3 days after I experienced my withdrawal bleed. I'm worried because I've been feeling different- tons of indigestion, no appetite, breast enlargement, everything feels tighter. I took a urine test at the doctor a week after my bleed (the 11th of February) and another the next week (the 21st of February). Both were negative. I should be starting my period in 4 days, and haven't had sex since.

A side note, I started taking the generic version of Alesse, Alysana this month. Could theses strange feelings be attributed to the brand switch?

I just worried cause I know with low estrogen BC it's important to take pills on time, which I haven't been diligent about.

Thank you!

Hey so I had sex on November 27th and I had a light period in December then a very heavy one in January. My next period is due around the 20th of this month. I have abdominal pain and my boobs are a little bigger than normal. I was pregnant in October but had a miscarriage. The way I feel now is the same way I felt when I was pregnant the first time. I didn't even know I was pregnant the first time because I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. I just thought it was my period until I was having really bad cramps to the point where I needed to see a doctor. It was then that I found out I was pregnant. In November when I had sex it hurt SOOO bad (worse than anything I have ever felt) and we stopped. I haven't had sex since because of that. But the pregnancy symptoms are all here. Another reason I think it may be pregnancy is because I also have a cold. I did my research and I found that it isn't really common to have the stomach flu along with the common cold. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi Anonymous,

Having your period in January proved that you did not become pregnant in December.

Have you had unprotected intercourse since your last period?
If so, that is the only way pregnancy would be the reason for a late period.

You could take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test in the morning and use the first urine of the day.

Hi, I am on birth control pills and have never forgotten one, I almost always use condoms with my boyfriend.

I have taken 3 home pregnancy tests which were negative, and had a blood test taken which was negative. Also had regular heavy periods every month, but I am having digestive problems, tummy aches and my weight is fluctuating a lot, but I havent gained any.

Is it possible to be pregnant despite all this? Im very worried because the symptoms started 4/5 months ago so I would have to be very far along
