Thanks for your question, and for finding EmpowHER. Anytime you have penis to vagina contact you run the risk of getting pregnant. Basically, what you did is called the withdrawal method of birth control. It is roughly 70% effective at preventing pregnancy. Without ejaculation, the risk is smaller, but there still is a risk because of what's called "pre-cum"-every man has it when erect, and it can be hard to notice.
