Is Depression considered a neurological disorder???

Depression is a psychiatric disorder and a symptom of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and stroke. There is also a physiologic component to depression. The brain is an infinitely complex organ of which more is being learned each day.
