ask: how is the d and c procedure for those that have had one?

i was told today that i need a d and c to find out if i have hyperplasia simple or complex. would very much like to hear from others that have had this procedure and how it was for them.

Cindcurran, so sorry you're having difficulty.

Nothing beats hearing about other women's personal experiences, and I'm sure you'll get some here.

In the meantime, here's a link to understanding a D&C procedure. D&C stands for Dilation and Curettage, a procedure in which the uterine wall is scraped and the tissue that is removed is sent to a lab for examination. D&Cs are used to diagnose quite a few conditions, as well as commonly being done after miscarriage:
