How do I help a grown son who is depressed, taking medicine and wants to do nothing?

Thank you for your post.

All you can you can do is let him know he is loved and that you are there for him. Treating depression takes time and patience. Encourage him to try to do more each day, but in the end, he has to find it in himself to move forward. I hope he will be able to soon.
