Hi Faith... i am 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I am bleeding like i'm having my period. Yesterday was the 3rd day i was bleeding. My doctor gave me Duphaston tab to take twice daily for 1 week and she also gave Injection Choriemon 5000 IM last Thursday Oct. 1 when i started bleeding. She did not tell me the cause why am I bleeding and she mentioned that this is not a good pregnancy start. She didn't find a heartbeat yet and my next appointment will be after 1 week only (coming Thursday). Please let me know what i should do....

You need to ask your doctor if there are any instructions to follow. She will be able to tell you why she gave you the treatment she did. I am not able to see all the information she knows about your specific case.
October 4, 2015 - 10:35amBleeding during the first few weeks of pregnancy is common and mostly not harmful. However, since there is no heartbeat, it could indicate: miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or placenta previa. Your doctor probably does not want to scare you. The last thing you need right now is extra stress; especially if there is no action you can take yourself. You are probably not doing anything wrong.
I imagine your doctor is doing everything she can to ensure a healthy pregnancy!
