I had a period on the 5th of April and haven't gotten another one this month. I never have a missed period unless I'm pregnant. In this case, my tests keep coming back negative and I don't know if I could be or not.

Did you have unprotected sex? Do you normally use birth control, or are you trying to get pregnant? You don't say how old you are, but that can be a factor in irregular periods.
Since you are not very late yet, it could be just the stress of worrying about it that is making you late. Stress can have a strong effect on the menstrual cycle, as can diet, exercise and many other things.
Many pregnancy tests say you can use them about 10-14 days after the unprotected sex took place. You have to read the package, because they are all a little different.
