I am not sure I understand your question, can you provide more information and tell us what you are concerned about regarding safety?

From what I do understand:
You are on the 2nd day of your menstrual period.

- I'm not sure what "until the 5th" refers to?
- Are you asking if it is safe to have intercourse during your menstrual period, or if it is safe to have unprotected sex during your period ("safe" meaning you can't get pregnant?). There is a chance of pregnancy anytime during your cycle, as sperm can live inside a woman's body for 3-5 days or women may ovulate really early one cycle...you just can't depend on the last days of your period (5th day) as being protection from pregnancy.
