I have a bloody discharge. It's from my vagina and it causes no pain. I'm also not pregnant.

My bloody discharge had me panicked because it hadn't stopped since my period. I don't experience pain or any sorts. It's just my bloody discharge. My vaginal discharge has blood but only spots. Sometimes, I bleed lightly but it happens alternately from spots only to light bleeding. I'm worried because I'm not pregnant and haven't been active in sex for 2-3 weeks already, even before and after my period. Can you help me?

Please call your gynecologist's office to schedule an appointment. This spotting is unusual.Your physician knows your age, medical history, can perform a pelvic exam and order any necessary blood test along with diagnostic testing to determine the cause.
