The condition is called interstious stistitist (spelling??). The only pill they use for it did not work on me. I took it three times a day for six months. I don't mind too much the problem in the day, but at night I hae to get up every two to three hours to go to the bathroom. I have had this condition for quite a few years and it is jeoparizing my health and mind functions. Do you know of anything that would relieve my problem? Please help!!!

Addressing diet is helpful in reducing inflammation in the body which in turn may be beneficial for your condition.

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Interstitial cystitis (IC) is an inflammation of the lining of the bladder than can cause scarring, decreased bladder capacity, and sometimes pinpoint bleeding of the bladder wall. There is no cure, but there are different treatments you can discuss with your doctor to find one that works for you: IC Treatments
Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
