I have had high blood pressure many years,have been able to keep it under control now my Dr is sending me to a heart Dr,my medicine doesn't seem to be working anymore,I am so scared,any thoughts??

Thank you for writing.

Something may have changed with your heart condition if your medication is not working as it did. Your heart specialist will need to run a series of tests to know what's going on with your heart exactly.
We can't really say anymore since a specialist is required.
Try not to worry too much for now, although I know that's easier said than done. You may find a medication change or adjustment is required.
