Is it normal to miss a period after taking plan b?

My LMP was Dec 9th and on Dec 12th (saturday)I had unprotected sex and took plan B. I took one pill that evening and I took the second pill late, i took it 15 hours later insetead of 12. In fear that the pill did not work I took another dose on Monday. I started to bleed exactly one week after taking the first pill on saturday Dec 19th, I've read that the bleeding could be "withdrawl" bleeding. Is it possible to ovulate again after having the withdrawl period?
My period is now late. I took 3 pregnancy tests this week and they all come back negative. Could it be that I will NOT get my period this month because I took 2 plan b pills in 3 days. I will also mention that I've been stressed out since having unprotected sex but I don't think i can relax until i get my period. Pleae help!!

Hello Anonymous,

The Plan B package instructions state that you should take one pill within 72 hours after unprotected sex and the other pill 12 hour later. The pills are more effective the sooner they are taken

It is too late to take the second pill. I cannot predict if the first pill alone was effective. If you do not get your period within 3 weeks of taking Plan B, test for pregnancy.

Hello Anonymous,

Some women will experience changes in their menstrual cycle as a side effect of Plan B. Periods can start earlier or later than normal. Menstrual flow can be lighter or heavier than normal. That is what is happening to you.

Ok can someone please help me I'm literally freaking out. I had my Lmp may 31-June 3. I had unprotected sex June 8. Took plan b around 10pm on the 9 and the second dose at 10am on the 10th. I've had really light bleeding for one day then weeks past and had it again. Since then I have taken 5 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. Today is Aug 10 and I still haven't had my period. What could be going on?

So I don't have an exact date for my period but it always comes sometime at the end of the month. I had unprotected sex about July 23rd and two days later I bled for two days a very dark blood it almost looked black with little cramping. It is now August 8th and I have no signs of getting my period. Any advice?

I had unprotected sex on July 12 (the last day of my period), he pulled out. I took Plan B 8 hours later. For the next 5 days (until July 17) I experienced mild pain and pressure in my lower abdomen. 3 days later on July 20, I started bleeding heavily which lasted for 8 days (until July 28). Since I've stopped bleeding, I'm still feeling discomfort and pressure in my pelvic area. It is now August 8, and still feeling like this. Should I worry about being pregnant? Is it worth taking a pregnancy test? If so, when should I do that? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
