MY DOCTORS ARE REFUSING ME ALL MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR ALL MY ISSUES. IS THIS SAFE? WILL IT CAUSE FATALITY VERY MUCH SOONER THAN NORMALLY WOULD BE EXPECTED? WHAT IS THE MEDICAL TREATMENT AND LIFE EXPECTANCY?

Hi Anonymous,

If you feel as if you are not getting adequate medical services you should get a second opinion. Polycythemia vera can be treated as simple as removing viles of blood to thin out your blood. However, there may be complications based on the severity of your disease. According to the National Institute of Health:

Complications

Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. I hope this helps.

When you say "refused", it implies many different things. Refusal may be based on medical judgment or some other factor. You'd need to be explicit.
