Thank you for writing and well done to you both for making the decision to get clean.
Your husband may have damaged a tendon/muscle in his shoulder. This can take months to heal. Scans may reveal more, is he is in a position to get one? He may need occupational or physical therapy sessions to promote healing.

And it's been going on for about 4 months and it's not constantly it's off and on. Also I hate to put this part online but he's a heroin addict and he's been musseling it in that shoulder for about 5 year's. Not every time he does it but I'd say at least once a day when we were using we quit December 7th 2017 and we are now on the Suboxone program
