Over dosage of Postinor 2

I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

Hello Anonymous,

Generally, an emergency contraceptive pill causes changes in the menstrual cycle and effect flow, but only for one month. Consider speaking with your gynecologist about this. You may be more sensitive.

Hi I ovulated on the 20th of Jan according to my period tracker. I had unprotected sex on the 23rd of January and he ejaculated in me. I took Postinor 2 on the 25th of January. Both tablets at once.
My cycle was suppose to start on Feb 3rd. it's the 10th and no period as yet only symptoms of cramping all week and bloating. Can I be pregnant or is my period just really delayed. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Hello Anonymous,

It was too early in your new menstrual cycle to be ovulating. There was no need to take Postinor 2, but you did. Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation.

You have nothing to worry about. You were protected when you had sex that night.

Be aware that the pill causes changes in the menstrual cycle. Your next period can start earlier or later than expected. Flow might be lighter or heavier than normal.

Please use birth control and do not depend on ECP.

Maryann

I had unprotected sex, I was so tight for that I hadn't had sex in a really long time. I couldn't stand the pain of his part inside of me so I asked him to stop. He insisted on going so I had to fake an orgasm and then he pulled out and came on my chest right away. Could I be pregnant? I took p2 30 minutes after and then again after 12 hours. It's been 15 hours since the last time I took the second pill and was wondering if I could take it now again for a total of 4 pills after one intercourse??? Please answer as soon a second possible.

Regards,
Janett

Hello. I'm in my early 20s and I'm not really aware of pregnancy. When a woman gets pregnant, will her period stop through out the 9 months of pregnancy process? What if I had sex and able to take postinor 2 within the timeframe and my period starts 10 days late from the actual due, is there any potential to get pregnant? And what does the bleeding several days after taking the pills indicates?

Why do I bleed 5 days after taking postinor 2 and it last for 4 days? It was not too heavy though. Does it caused by postinor2 n means it's effective in preventing pregnancy? I'm confused between implantation bleeding and ovulation bleeding.
