I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

Hi, please I had sex on Thursday and I took pistinor 2 after some hours and took the second one on Friday, I then had sex again on Sunday I took postinor 2 after one hours, do I need to take the second one in the next 12 hours or is it already too much??

No, do not take another dose. You should never have taken the second dose after intercourse on Sunday. You overdosed.

Hello Anonymous,
Postinor 2, like all ECP, are intended to be used in an emergency situation. It would be safer and less expensive to use some type of birth control consistently. Consider oral contraceptives, an IUD or Depo-Provera injections, and condoms for your partner.
Speak with your gynecologist about the safely of using an ECP three time in one year. I am not qualified to give you that answer.

Hi, I took two dose of p2 , four days later the side effects started showing up, first by burning sensation and little bleeding after urinating, after that, fever, dizziness, tiredness, body pains and fever, including dryness of the mouth. Am on medications and the bleeding and burning sensation have stopped. But the rest, especially fever and lost of appetite is there. Please what else can I do?

Do not take another dose.
Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation.
How soon before intercourse did you take the first dose?
Please speak with a pharmacist, because I really don't know.

He menstrual cycle is not regular.
We visited a gynecologist since we wanted to have a baby and was advised to stop using them.
She had however had 3 miscarriages since then (all less than 4 weeks) and this comes with a lot of pain and heavy bleeding for days. Even after the bleeding stops, she still complains of abdominal pain whenever she does some chores.
Could there be a problem?
Could this be the effect of p2?
Will we ever have a child?
