Hello. My question is two days before I'd ovulated on Nov 6, I had unprotected sex with my partner. Five days since then I have been experiencing pain in my lower abdominal stomach and pain in my breast. I have also been experiencing a white discharge as well as a clear discharge. My period is schedule to arrive around the 18th, so I know it's too early to take a pregnancy test, but are these signs that we may have conceived. I have been pregnant three times before, the first two signs I had no signs and the last time I became violently ill the week my period was suppose to come on.

Hi Chic

Any time you have unprotected sex you can become pregnant, but signs and symptoms are not usually instantaneous, and abdominal pain is not typically a sign of pregnancy.

I have seen some new pregnancy tests advertise that they can confirm pregnancy a week before your period. I don't know if that claim is accurate or not. At any rate, you may or may not be pregnant, but I don't think you are having symptoms of pregnancy. They may be PMS symptoms.

Good luck and thanks for writing.
